Its all over... Now its Show & Tell time.
I have a Luuuuuvly friend of 24 years that we spent Xmas day with....and what a crack of a day it was.
Years ago she told me that she hates being called Love by anyone...well I told her was a mistake telling me, as I would say it more then ever....So I figure that she is now use to it as I received THE most delightful gift from her....She made up the pattern  and added her own touch.....I LOVE the colours & the way she has stitched the edges of the lettering...this is the effect she wanted.....Just so clever.

And now it we take pride of place in the unpainted dinning room doorway..lol

I am so greatful. She works in a high pressure job full time, looks after two kids and a luvly hubby, and she must luuuuuve me heaps to find time to make something that now means heaps and tons to me.....Thanks sooo much Floss..."love" xoxoxo

LAST MINUTE GIFTS...NOT SURPRISING FOR ME!

What a week!.....Thank goodness my kids are home. GKkidlet is good at getting me organised.....JJkidlet is good at jobs....He even gave me a bill of $5.20 for ALL the jobs he did....ripped himself off a bit.
So I have only a few pics of what I have managed to sew, as GKkidlet has them wrapped as soon as the threads are trimmed.!

I made three of these for some high school girls for 2011



This is an Apron for my uncle, I also put some Poppy seed dressing with it...It's a Barrista style apron, extra long as he is nice an tall.

So Guys and girls, Happy Parties, Know alcohol operated vechiles, make sure your fridges aren't over stacked (don't want food poisoning)....and soak up the sight of your kidlets and luved one. Cheers with Luv'N'Hugs



WOOHOO ! I THE KIDLETS GOT PAID !

A few blogs ago, the Kidlets and I prepared some craft to sell at our local coffee shop gallery. Well we received a cheque for what sold....the Kidlets shall be paid for their hard work, and I'm hoping it will give them an appreciation of money!!!

Now I'm busy making new stuff, so I did some of  Thimbelinas book bag, with Xmas a few weeks away, they may make for a nice last minute gifts....Here is a few.

I did some Journal covers as well

I found these clear exercise book Covers. They are a perfect fit.

I cut out in one room and sew in another and I have only one pin cushion...when I was sitting at the sewing machine, I saw one of the Kidlets toy sitting at the computer.....Perfect!!!!

It  looks quite awful really....Oh well, waste not want not!

 

QUICK...QUICK...QUICK...!

A little girl took a liking to a much loved cushion on her mother's bed...My friend had made it for her mum and got it back on her passing, so it is very special, and although she didn't mind her playing with it....It was her birthday in a few days and I had just the thing!!!

I just luv the Minky, it's so soft.....and I also luvvvv ribbon, it was nice to raid my stash....although GKkidlet has been in it...but it's nice to see a ribbon in her hair for school as well...good to see her taking pride in herself.
